Yes: the online check-in must be completed before arrival. It is a quick formality required by Italian law for guest registration. Where due, the tourist tax is also payable; how it is collected depends on the channel you booked through.

It depends on the period: usually two nights, three in the busiest periods, and on some dates a single night is possible. Each apartment’s calendar shows the free dates: pick your arrival and departure and you will immediately see whether the period is bookable and at what price.

Booking directly, 50% is paid at the time of booking; the remaining 50% is requested seven days before arrival.

Yes. For bookings made through our website, cancellation is free with a full 100% refund of what you have paid, up to 14 days before check-in. For later cancellations the conditions shown during booking apply. If you booked through Airbnb or Booking.com, the terms of that channel apply.

Villa Elvira is divided into three independent apartments: Artemisia (300 sqm, up to 10 guests), Dianora (140 sqm, up to 6 guests) and Ipazia (80 sqm, up to 3 guests), for a total of 19 beds. They can be booked individually, in combination, or all together for exclusive use of the villa.

The historic centre of Siena is 3 km away, a few minutes by car. The nearest bus stop is 140 metres from the property and the railway station is 3 km away.

Yes. Parking is free, private and inside the property, which is fully fenced with an automatic gate. A covered bicycle rack with locks is also available.

Yes, pets are allowed for an extra charge. Please let us know when booking.

Wi-Fi, parking, air conditioning in the bedrooms, a first supply of bed linen and towels, washing machine, safe, barbecue, sun loungers and free use of the vegetable garden and orchard are all included.

Yes. Booking the three apartments together gives you the villa exclusively: 19 beds, the century-old park, the loggia and every shared space, with no other guests.

Yes. The villa is available for ceremonies, exclusive private events, photo shoots and film productions. Contact us to check availability and arrangements.

Villa Elvira was built in 1931 to a design by the architect and urban planner Vittorio Mariani. It retains original 1930s furnishings, period parquet floors and Art Nouveau details. Beneath the villa lies a Second World War bunker, brought back to light in 2024.
